“As an Infantry Mustang Officer in the USMC, 1968 – 1977, I enthusiastically endorse Aaron Rasmussen for Tuolumne County Supervisor. I have worked with Aaron Rasmussen since 2008, in many capacities and Aaron Rasmussen has always impressed me in every office he held in the Veterans of Foreign wars and also in any project he led, including for the whole State of California as Chaplain of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Aaron Rasmussen is an exceptional leader, a former COMBAT Sergeant, US Army, who served with Distinction during battles in Iraq and one whom Real Men I work with, Young and Old, look up to as a leader. I whole heartedly endorse Aaron Rasmussen for the Office of County Board of Supervisors, Tuolumne County, California.” –

My name is Elisio Lozano, I am a retired Gunnery Sergeant having served 20 years in the Marine Corps and recently retired as Deputy of a Sheriff’s Department, within Southern California. I, without hesitation endorse Aaron Rasmussen for the the office of County Board of Supervisors for the County of Tuolumne, California. I have known Aaron Rasmussen for approximately 12 years and can attest firsthand to his outstanding work ethic, professionalism, commitment to his community & veterans alike, and common sense approach to problem solving. As a highly regarded member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2266, Aaron could be counted on to not only identify a problem but to offer real life experience and ideas to fix them. This included giving his personal time, hours on end, to insure a viable solution was met. As a member of the community I patrolled, Aaron was proactive and showed a real willingness to work with local law enforcement to help his community. He was ready to help people in need and offer common sense ideas to assist with local crime fighting in the area. On more than one occasion I was able to count on Aaron’s initiative and ability to identify troubled areas within neighborhoods, helping me make a difference within our community. Aaron Rasmussen is a man you can trust to do the right thing all the time. Not only is he an amazing dedicated father he is also a chaplain for the Veterans of Foreign wars helping to ease the pain of losing a family member or friend who has served our great country. Furthermore, he is a great friend and mentor to those who are trying to maneuver their disability claims through the often-confusing Department of Veteran Affairs system. He works hard at everything he puts his mind to, he will make a great addition for the board of supervisors as the District 3 Supervisor.
